A request submitted through this website is not a booking (see Terms & Conditions, section 2). You may withdraw it at any time before you approve a quotation and pay a reservation deposit, at no cost and with nothing owing.
A booking is confirmed once you have approved our quotation and we have received your 30% reservation deposit. From that point your dates are out of the market. These are the same terms as clause 17 of the Rental Agreement you sign at release.
| more than 24 hours before the scheduled rental | No charge. Your reservation deposit is refunded in full. |
| 24 hours or less before the scheduled rental | 20% of the quoted total |
| After the equipment has been picked up or released | 50% set-up fee, in addition to rental already run |
| No-show without notice | Treated as a cancellation with no notice — 20% of the quoted total. If the equipment had already been released, the full rental applies. |
Where a charge applies it comes out of your reservation deposit first and any balance is refunded to you. If the charge exceeds the deposit, the difference is invoiced.
If we cannot supply an item — because a prior booking is not returned, or the item fails a pre-release check — we will offer you an equivalent substitute at no extra cost. If no acceptable substitute is available, we refund everything you have paid for that item in full, including its share of any deposit. Where our failure means the whole booking cannot go ahead, we refund the booking in full.
The Rental Agreement contains no automatic weather exception, so the cancellation terms in section 2 apply to a typhoon, flooding, a work suspension or a withdrawn permit exactly as they do to any other cancellation. Where the equipment has not yet left our premises we will, as a matter of goodwill and at our discretion, try to move your dates instead of charging the fee — ask us, and ask early. Once equipment has been released, rental runs until it is back with us (clause 12).
Separately: if you intend to shoot in rain, storms, water, fire, smoke, dust, at height, on moving vehicles or around stunts and pyrotechnics, we ask you to sign the Hazardous Environment & High-Risk Use Waiver at release. That waiver is about who carries the risk of damage to the equipment in those conditions — it is not a cancellation or refund provision, and signing it does not change anything in this policy.
If an item fails during your hire through no fault of yours, contact us immediately. We will replace it as quickly as we practically can. Where we cannot, we credit or refund the rental for that item for the affected days. This does not extend to consequential losses — see Terms & Conditions, section 7.
A reservation deposit secures dates; it is not a security bond against damage. Charges for loss or damage are assessed separately after the return inspection, and are governed by Terms & Conditions, section 7, and by the Rental Agreement you sign at release.
Email info@hellobmr.com or call +63 945 117 7778, quoting your booking reference. Please cancel in writing where you can — it fixes the time of cancellation, which is what determines the charge. We will confirm your cancellation and any refund by email.
